Cherokee Classic
The decision was made in spring 2019 to part ways with US Bands and join the Tournament of Bands circuit for our Marching Band participation. As such, the timing was not in our favor to plan and recruit bands for our annual fall Cherokee Classic event.
While we may return to holding the Cherokee Classic in the future, the decision to forego it for this year paved way for the chance to allocate planning resources for a potential Cherokee Band-hosted Wind Ensemble Competition. To be held in mid-winter, this event is a unique opportunity for students to participate in, and as a fundraising opportunity.
Check this site's News and Calendar pages in early 2020 as we begin to post details.

Cherokee Classic Program Book
For the 2019-2020 school year, the bands will once again be soliciting advertising from local businesses. These ads will be printed in all program books throughout the year. The books will include ads from local businesses, information on participating bands, the competition schedules, as well as ads/personal messages from the families and friends of our marching band members. We are asking that all students secure AT LEAST ONE AD for the year.
