What are my payment options?
Ticket payments are by cash or check only (no credit cards). If you purchase directly from a Band Booster, you may arrange with them to use Venmo or another payment app to pay them for your ticket, as long as the funds are drawn from your bank account and not your credit card. To allow time for checks to clear before the drawing, we will only accept checks through December 1, 2023. After December 1, 2023 tickets will only be availble to purchase with cash/cash app.
How will the prize value be determined?
A maximum of 4,000 tickets will be sold for this raffle. Tickets are $10 each. Tickets will be sold from September 20, 2023 through 6:30 PM on December 20, 2023 (unless sold out sooner). One grand prize will be awarded of 50 percent of the cash value of the number of tickets sold (subject to deductions for state and federal taxes). The remainder of the ticket proceeds will be used to support our band programs (marching band, concert band, wind ensemble, jazz band and chamber ensembles).
When and where is the drawing?
The winning ticket will be chosen on at the Nutcracker concert on December 20, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. The drawing will also be shown live via our Facebook page. The location of the live drawing will be Cherokee High School.
If I'm not at the drawing, how will I know if I won?
You need not be present to win. If the winner is not present at the drawing, we will contact that individual via the phone number on the winning ticket. If for some reason we are not able to hold the winter concert on the scheduled date, the drawing will still be held at that date and time live on our Facebook page, and the winner will be contacted via the information on the winning ticket. We may also post the winner's first name and last initial on our social media accounts.

- FROM BAND MEMBERS: You can get your tickets directly from any Cherokee band member, or members of the Cherokee Band Boosters.
- IN PERSON SALES: We will be selling tickets on the weekends in front of local businesses in the area. Check our Facebook page for in person sales locations.
