11/17/2021 Cherokee Students to Perform with the Rowan University "WindFest" Honors Wind EnsembleRead Now On Tuesday, November 23rd at 7:30 PM, seven student-musicians of the Cherokee High School Wind Ensemble will perform challenging repertoire as members of The Rowan University "WindFest" Honors Wind Ensemble. The honors band event is an intensive event for high school musicians selected from throughout NJ, PA, DE & NY. Participants will enjoy a music-filled day, working alongside Rowan's world-class faculty and exceptional university students in rehearsal and masterclass settings. The day concludes with a concert in beautiful Pfleeger Concert Hall featuring both the WindFest Honor Band and the Rowan University Wind Ensemble. The student musicians from Cherokee High School were nominated by their Wind Ensemble Conductor, D. Michael Lynch.
